Spearheading this project for the Arts Council of Cebu Foundation, Inc. is M. Eloisa N. Fernan who was overall coordinator. A photography enthusiast and art lover, Ms. Fernan also wrote the foreword, and led the shaping of the book’s concept. She is a trustee of the Arts Council of Cebu Foundation, Inc. and other local civic organizations. With Ms. Fernan as co-publisher is Elvira G. Luym, born a Manileña but who has become a Cebuana by marriage. A businesswoman, she is active in supporting the performing and visual arts in Cebu and serves as trustee and treasurer of the Foundation. Editorial consultant Thelma Sioson San Juan is the country’s foremost lifestyle journalist and has headed one of the major magazine publishing companies in the Philippines. She is currently lifestyle editor of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Writer Alya B. Honasan is associate editor of Metro Magazine, and has written and edited many coffee table books. Art Director Norrino C. Hernandez, who did the book’s design concept, comes from a family of art directors (his father and five siblings are all art directors). He has been affiliated with several graphic design studios and local and multinational advertising agencies. He now runs his own design shop and serves as creative consultant to design outfits. Project consultants for the book were Teresin A. Mendezona, an Arts Council trustee who is Cebu’s most influential party and bridal events stylist, and Petite M. Garcia who, as president of the Arts Council, is a strong advocate of arts and culture.
